For the past three weeks, I’ve worked out a couple of times a week instead of my usual four to five. And I am starting to feel it.

I could feel guilty about this, but I don’t.

Exercise and I – we have a long-term relationship and we are secure in our love for each other. We don’t have to see each other every single day to prevent “straying.”

Unlike ancient gods and abusive boyfriends, Exercise does not require daily sacrifice. Base fitness, built up over years, does not disappear overnight.

Sometimes, our routines slip when life gets in the way.

And it’s okay. Our bodies will bring us back.
